the PIPER PROJECT
Max and Piper, ca. 2014
When we launced the distillery in 2014, president and distiller max pfeffer knew he’d want some company around the place while he was busy changing the idea of what whiskey can be.
He adopted piper, a sweet pitbull with a penchant for announcing the arrival of any visitors.
FOR OVER TEN YEARS, piper WAS a fixture at the distillery, loved by all of our friends, family, and regulars.
IN PIPER’S MEMORY, the PIper project aims TO provide support to animal shelters in the greater philadelphia areA , especially those working with rescued dogs.
we help by hosting regular adoption events in our tasting rooms, sharing a portion of event proceeds with participating adoption organizations.
